Dick-James Hall I heard a tiny part of this on a social feed and found a form of mental anchoring in this track.

This does have a sonic weight, but the weight it carries as we listen is hopeful, a companion of sorts when one is feeling lost, powerless, isolated...

it is reassuring in its repetition, akin to the reassurance when we look over and see the rhythm of someone breathing as they sleep.

Thank you for making this.

about

Relentlessly minimal long-form composition from James Watts, soporifically drugging anyone that cares to listen. Lysergically shifting tones bring to bear the weight that many of us have felt in this continuously punishing year, but underneath runs a current of optimism that suggests a catalyst for change. There's work to be done though.
